I will contact Beyond the Fight Initiative if any problems arise and discuss ways that they can help us.

I intend to keep the dog(s) for their lifetime, but if for any reason I cannot care for the dog(s) I will surrender to a no-kill rescue or shelter if another suitable home can’t be found.

Submitting this application does not mean you are committing to a dog, nor does it guarantee you will get that dog. It is simply a tool we use to help both you and us identify a good potential match for your family and lifestyle.

ADOPTION POLICIES:

You must be 21 years of age or older to Adopt a Dog.
All animals in your home must be spayed or neutered (if one year of age or older, unless prevented by a health condition.)
We prefer all members of the family to be present for the adoption as we want to make sure it's a good fit for everyone! If you are planning on adopting a dog and already have an existing dog, we ask that you bring him/her to meet your potential new pet.
Adopters must be willing to allow a Beyond the Fight Initiative representative to make a follow-up contact, either in person or by phone.
If at any time you are unable to keep the pet or offer it proper care, it must be placed with a no-kill rescue or shelter, if unable to find a new suitable home.
If the application passes this review, I agree to a virtual or in-person home and yard visit on a mutually agreed date before an adoption decision is made.
I agree to hold harmless, waive, and release from liability Beyond the Fight Initiative and Ashley Dames, should I become sick or injured from any animals as a result of the meet & greet.
Applications must be completed and approved prior to adopting an animal. If approved, an applicant must sign a contract to adopt an animal that outlines the responsibilities of the adopter.
